Coolock Village v VEC FC 2nds

Report: A 2-0 win for Coolock Village over a gallant VEC FC saw them pick up the MMI Cup in Home Farm on Wednesday evening.
The two goals came in a five minute spell at the midway point in the second half as their captain Jamie O’Reilly produced a beauty of a finish to open their account, and before VEC had time to recover, Conor Harrington popped up with number two, to seal their fate on the night.

A GOOD KNIGHT FOR VEC
For the second time in less that two weeks, VEC FC got the better of new Premier Division Champions, Tallaght United, when they narrowly edged them out in a 1-0 win in the Richard Knight Cup Final in Tolka Rovers on Wednesday night.
Like the Challenge Cup only 10 days prior, there was very little between these two sides, and only a Tom Wrynne goal separated them at the final whistle.
A great end to the season for VEC with the two major UCFL Cups in the back pocket.
