VEC Fail to take Chances

After a number of good chances, VEC eventually took the lead in the 55th minute through Conall O’Shaughnessy, in the Premier Division match against Glasnaion FC played in TU Dublin’s Blanchardstown Campus. The lead only lasted 5 minutes as the visitors equalised and then scored the winner 10 minutes from the end to secure all 3 points.


VEC Brush Cherry Orchard Challenge Aside

James McGauran scores VEC’s first goal after 15 minutes to set VEC on their way to a 3-1 victory against Cherry Orchard FC in the LFA Junior Cup in Terenure.

Oisin Kinsella added another 2 in the first minute of the 2nd half, and again in the 72nd minute (see pic. below),  to secure a 3rd round clash at home to Bangor GG Fc on 7th December. The match finished 3-1 with the opposition scoring a late penalty.
