Two goals from Leon Buckley ensured that a VEC select overcame newcomers to the League, Kiltalown FC in Jobstown. Tom Wrynne had opened the scoring in the 43rd minute (first 2 pics) with Leon scoring his first just before half-time (3rd pic). The home team pulled one back in the 65th minute, but Leon’s nice lob over the advancing keeper wrapped up the game for VEC 8 minutes from the finish.
