This season’s Challenge Cup final will see the top two in the Premier Division go head to head. VEC FC will meet Tallaght Utd. in the decider in Home Farm on Saturday May 14th at 2.00pm.
Under the lights in Ringsend Park, VEC saw off the challenge of Harding IF FC, on a comprehensive 4-0 scoreline. Tom Wrynne opened the scoring in the 35th minute; Neill Love added a second in the 73rd minute and then Joey Byrne and Aidan Hyland scored one a-piece in the final five minutes, to ‘put the icing on the cake’.
