VEC FC v Boghall Rovers

2-0 down after 55 minutes, Rob Newe smashed this ball to the net, followed by a brilliant free kick by Ben Lenehan 5 minutes later, and a suburb left foot strike from Jeff de Castro in the 65th minute to complete a magnificent second-half comeback and all 3 points for VEC.

VEC FC v Dunshaughlin Youths

This goal from Jay Hester in the 65th minute put us 4-0 ahead and so it finished. Played in Sean Walsh Astro, Joey Byrne opened the scoring in the 10th minute, before Pat Meghen added two penalties in the 15th & 27th minutes.

Shelbourne AFC v VEC FC

A match to forget! Two sweet strikes from the home team in the 30th & 32nd minutes gave them the momentum and any chance we had of getting back into this match was extinguished when we conceded a 3rd just after the re-start, added to by two further goals later in the game.

VEC FC v Harding IF FC

Despite a very good team performance, particularly from our ever-present rock at the heart of defence, Neill Love, table toppers Harding IF FC scored in the 32nd minute and again just on the blow for half-time to take all 3 points.

VEC FC v Malahide Utd.

This match was switched to Sean Walsh Astro in Tallaght, when the VEC pitches were declared unplayable. After conceding our first goal from a corner in the 17th minute, the same occurred just 5 minutes into the 2nd half, followed by a 3rd after 65 minutes. In truth, we never threatened their goalkeeper.

Coolock Village FC v VEC FC

When you analyse this game, how we lost is perplexing and frustrating! We had numerous chances to score, but failed due to poor execution and bad luck! And, of course Coolock took one of their two real chances in the game, with a sweet strike from Dermot Blaine in the 32nd minute.
