VEC are the UCFL Premier Division Champions for 2015-2016

VEC FC Presented with Premier League Trophy

UCFL Chairman and President of the Leinster Football Association Senior Council, Barney Blood presents VEC Chairman David Spring with the Premier Division Trophy for 2015-2016.
Having been presented in June with the Challenge Cup, the Richard Knight Cup and the Barton Shield, VEC now have the 4 trophies after a magnificent quadruple in the UCFL for season 2015-2016. More pictures here.

3rd Trophy: VEC Win Richard Knight Cup

After conceding a 12th minute penalty, VEC equalized 3 minutes later from an Aidan Hyland goal before adding 4 more goals in the second half and registering a resounding 5-1 win over FC Sportslink Ailesbury in the Final of the Richard Knight Cup in Terenure on Tuesday night. The other goals came from Niall Flynn (2), Anthony Dunne and Raimonds Jaudzems.

2nd Trophy: VEC Win UCFL Challenge Cup

After a shaky opening 15 minutes, VEC recorded a resounding 4-1 win over South William Street Celtic in the Final of the Challenge Cup on a wet evening in Home Farm on Saturday 21st May 2016.

Goals from Niall Flynn, Seamus Staunton, Anthony Dunne and Raimonds Jaudzems ensured that VEC brought the Challenge Cup back to Terenure for the first time in 5 years. Read Report in STRIKER.

1st Trophy: VEC Win Barton Shield

VEC Captain Anthony Dunne receives the Barton Shield from UCFL Chairman Barney Blood after the Final against Arthur Griffith Park Fc on Bank-holiday Monday.

After going behind to a 47th minute goal, VEC levelled matters in the 70th minute when Conall O'Shaughnessy headed in an Andy Myler corner. That's the way it remained right through extra time which meant a penalty shoot-out, where VEC came out on top by 4 goals to 3 to win the Shield. Read Report in STRIKER.
